Discover Berlin’s Vegan Paradise: Lidian’s 8 Favorite Restaurants

A vegan Walhalla, that is what my friend Lidian calls Berlin. She and her fiance, love to visit Berlin. Not only because the city is beautiful, but especially to eat vegan food! In this article her favorite restaurants. I can't wait to visit Berlin next month and try out these restaurants. Make sure you have some food with you, while reading, because I can promise you, you will get hungry, after finishing the article!

What to expect in this article:

1. Frittenwerk - Berlin

The vegan restaurant Lidian is most excited about is Frittenwerk. She loves the fries with different types of toppings.
The best thing is that there are multiple branches spread over Berlin, so you never have to travel far.
Her favorite here is the Pink Persia poutine. ‘A large portion of house fries meets pink hummus, rocket and falafels, plus fresh lemon aioli and quinoa – your new favorite dish is ready!’
I am hungry already! I just read that they also have vegan currywurst, you must know about this famous German sausage.

6. 1990 Vegan Living - Berlin

This restaurant is like you can read, very vegan and this is actually Lidian’s favorite on the list!

‘We try to bring along what our planet needs: super delicious food with a clear conscience.  The atmosphere of our location is like in a family home in Vietnam, just to feel at home similar to grandma’s kitchen.’

According to Lidian, there are many nice dishes on the menu. She also wants to mention that you can only pay with cash. In this digital world, that is handy to say.

7. Factory Girl - Berlin

My seventh tip is about a restaurant, that you also have in Amsterdam (so a little closer to home for us).
The pancakes there were very good. And if you look at the menu, they have something for everyone.

‘Created/founded by Sofia D. Sözen in Berlin in 2009 to become a hip, stylish and all day long healthy breakfast & lunch restaurant concept that dynamically blends the coolness with fine food.’

When you check our their website, they have a page called Photographs for Foodies. Now we are talking! 😉 They created that for me, because now I need to go!
