Are you considering a stay over on the airport of Kuala Lumpur? Then don't worry because there is a place you can sleep and not worry about your stuff.
Long transfer at KL airport
During my flight from Bali to Chennai (India), I had a very long transfer at Kuala Lumpur airport. I don’t like long transfers, but I had to, as the other flights were too expensive.
Online I could not find any information, so I was just guessing I could sleep at the airport of KL, and luckily I could. My flight arrived at 22.40 and my next flight would be at 06.30.
When I arrived at the airport I first wanted to explore the stores, but there were only a couple open, as it was so late at night, so then I searched for some kind of place to sleep and I came across the capsule transit hotel!
I was travelling solo as a girl and was pretty tired, so I really wanted to find a place to sleep. This capsule hotel is luckily also female-friendly.
Cute sleeping capsule
I found it super cute as my capsule was tiny, but super functional.
Kuala Lumpur did a good job at this capsule transit hotel. There is a little bed and enough space to store your stuff.
If you want, you can even put your stuff in a safe and charge your electronics.
Next to that, you will receive a towel, earplugs, a sleeping mask, a dental kit, and a water bottle. You can use this for the shower, which is very clean, and you can find everything you need.
I am happy I got at least 5 hours of sleep and a little time to recharge before flying again. The stores are only 5 minutes away, so you can even leave your luggage in the cabin if you want.
Prices of the capsule
Female & mixed single capsule
3 Hours Package: 135 RM(±27 euros)
6 hours package: 145 RM (±30 euros)
12 hours package: 155Rm (±32 euros)
Don't forget to book an activity in Malaysia!
I hope you are convinced to take that long (and mostly cheaper) flight and have that transfer in Kuala Lumpur airport. For me it is another experience, so I am happy I did it.
